- Recently Approved 6.8 percent decrease in 2011 Budget for City of West Chicago
- Approved reduced budgets in the City of West Chicago 5 years running
- Reduction in West Chicago’s overall crime rate by 27 percent from 2007-2010
- Reduction in violent crime by 17 percent since 2009
- Reduction in property crime by 20 percent since 2009
- Increased the number of police officers patrolling our streets since 2006
- Succeeded in getting Commonwealth Edison to provide improved power line equipment for our neighborhood after a series of power outages
- While on Public Affairs Committee formulated and Approved no soliciting ordinance to prevent un-wanted fliers by our residents
- Successful renovation of Powis Road
- Successful renovation of Smith Road
- Successful renovation of Hawthorne Lane
- Testified about safety concerns of the Canadian National/EJ&E Railway merger
- Privatized West Chicago’s Waste Treatment Plant resulting in a savings to our residents of nearly a quarter million dollars.
- Succeeded in defeating a second garbage transfer station near our neighborhood
